Kerry Tourism Interest meeting held this morning in Fels Point Hotel!

Minister Jimmy Deenihan, TD. organised a briefing for Kerry Tourism Interests with Mr Pascal Donohue,TD , Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport this morning at Fels Point Hotel, Tralee. There was great attendance from the tourism sector with special emphasis on the Wild Atlantic Way (WAW).

TCA marketing group visit to Westport was a great success!

The Tralee Chamber Alliance marketing group visit to Westport was a great success. Lots of great ideas, strategies and suggestions were shared from locally based tourism groups, business groups, voluntary groups and the Mayo county council with regard to how they achieved their success as one of Ireland's top tourism towns. We cycled part of their Great Western Greenway and heard how the success of this Greenway has contributed enormously to the local economies. The Aqua Dome was quiet yesterday as hundreds of people lined the streets of Tralee to see the St. Patrick's Day parade!

According to Radio Kerry hundreds of people lined the streets to see the St Patrick's Day parade. The parade saw community groups, sports clubs and local dignitaries participate. What a fantastic parade it was and perfect weather for it!

A big congratulations to Cian McCarthy from Milltown who became the 4 millionth person to visit the Aqua Dome this afternoon. Well done to Cian and his family on winning the complimentary annual family membership. Great celebrations and fun were had by all when the announcement was made as Cian and his family walked through the front doors. Cian said "it was the best day ever"! A big thanks to everyone who helped make this event a great success, to all the staff, customer and members, John Drummey Communications and all the press who came down to take photographs. Well done again to Cian, his mom Kate and family and we hope they enjoy their family membership in the Aqua Dome
